The Pz.Sfl. IVc (Or Flakpanzer für s FlaK)is a Tier V German Tank Destroyer.

Also known as the Flak Bus due to almost no armor and large size, this tank is rather a large, paper armored tank (and opened topped). Due to the shape, it is often called a toaster. It hurts the camo rating of this tank and it affects how the tank can hide itself.

However, it does has quite good mobility. It can relocate as fast as most medium tanks can move.

The true aspect that makes this tank shine is the gun it uses. The 88mm guns are very dangerous and powerful at its battle tier. Both 88mm guns feature great penetration, but the top 88mm is very powerful, as it can penetrate pretty much anything at tier V and VI, and penetrate most targets at tier VII matches (As it is identical in terms of penetration of the 105mm on the T29). Combine with incredible accuracy, in turn, makes this tank a great sniping tank, with the low usage of gold ammo. People who prefer DPM over penetration can pick the 75mm, as it does give 100 extra damage per minute. All guns feature 85 - 90 degrees of gun elevation, which is a distinguishable feature of this tank.

This tank also features some good view range (For its class at least). It always help to mount Telescopic Binoculars, Camo Net, and Gun Rammer to further improve this tank's characteristics. View range can be even further increased with situational awareness and recon to bring the view range up to 445m (When stationary at least).

Overall, players who mastered the Marder 38T will really like this tank's play style. This tank is a great sniper tank and as long this tank is hidden, this tank can dominate over its targets.

The following is spoilers and historical inaccuracy about this vehicle! The reason Wargaming did this is due to game balancing in most cases! To see, click open

  • This tank was actually a SPAA, not a Tank Destroyer
    • Add with that, its real name was the Grille 10
    • SPAA stands for Self Propelled Anti Aircraft
  • The walls around the gun actually folded down, enabling the gun to rotate a full 360
  • The 88mm guns were initially used for aircraft (Hence the name FlaK), but it was successfully used as a improvised anti-tank, which explains the usage in game as a conventional gun
    • In the wake of the successful improvised anti-tank, Krupp began developing with the same calibre, which would lead to the infamous Tiger I's 88mm gun.
  • The only planned gun for this tank was the Flak 41 L/76, which is the tank's top gun.
    • The Germans did use some 7.5cm guns as anti-aircraft, but the 8.8cm gun replaced the earlier 7.5cm guns during the war.
