The Rhm.-Borsig Waffenträger is a Tier VIII German Tank Destroyer.

One of the open-topped German tank destroyers, it is actually pretty slow for such a vulnerable tank due to its very weak engine, giving it a very low power to weight ratio of 11.15 hp per ton, which doesn’t help at all if you’re trying to run away as almost any tank can catch up with you. What does have is it famed gun that deals 750 alpha damage with a decent dpm of 2250, and penetrates 215 mm of armor, a bit lackluster for a tier VIII tank destroyer, but sufficient for penetrating (most) heavy tanks also. Unfortunately, this gun lacks accuracy so you should be aware of that problem but it can turn its turret all the way around when necessary so medium tanks shouldn’t be able to flank you but those pesky light tanks may prove a challenge because of the weak engine, though the traverse speed is the safe as the mobile FV215b. It has a low profile so in order to stay alive you can’t go flanking, instead you play as a support tank, firing from medium ranges and mounting camoflage, hiding in thick bushes to keep yourself safe from fast tanks or powerful guns as you have low hp and armor too.

This tank does have a lot of disadvantages but its big alpha damage is designed to take down the toughest of opponents.

The following is spoilers and historical inaccuracy about this vehicle! The reason Wargaming did this is due to game balancing in most cases! To see, click open

  • Rhm. actually stands for Rheinmetall, after the company who created it, but Wargaming decided to shorten because the name was so long that it would be too long for a battle name to be read properly.
