The T34 is a Tier VIII American Premium Heavy Tank.

This tank is essentially a hybrid between the T29 and T30: Big gun, strong turret, and a tier between tier VII and tier IX.

Its gun is very powerful, with 400 alpha damage and good penetration. Its depression angles are excellent, making hull down easy as the turret nominal thickness proves impenetratable to even top tier tank destroyers. However, this armament is plagued by bad dispersion on the move, painful aiming time, and painful reload rate. This results in pitiful DPM, similar to the ARL 44 The dispersion when fully aimed though, is surprisingly accurate for its gun size.

Mobility is quite slow. Its very slow when accelerating, horrid mobility on soft terrain, and painfully slower than walking pace when going up hills.

Armor is very similar to the T29 (See infobox). But, the only thing that makes the armor standout is the unusual 202mm of armor at the rear of the turret. However, because you are one tier higher, some tanks may be able to penetrate your turret armor, such as the infamous Jagdpanzer E 100. Other tanks like the Strv S1 may succeed in penetrating through your turret with gold ammo or even standard ammo (But this is very rare).

Overall, this tank should be played similar to the T29, using the very strong turret armor and hiding the weaker hull. You should always mount anything that would decrease the painful reload time, such as Brothers in Arms, or the Gun Rammer.
